One design for preview and production

A stamp design often needs two versions: a preview image for approval or upload, and a production file for engraving or cutting. Keeping those files in sync is easier when they come from one editor.

Production checklist

Before sending the file to a laser workflow, open the export in your target software and check that text paths, shape lines and SVG artwork appear as expected. Keep a PNG preview beside the production file so the operator can compare the result.

If a design contains very detailed SVG artwork, simplify it when possible. Cleaner source artwork usually imports better and engraves more predictably.

File quality checklist

Because laser workflows depend on clean geometry, inspect the exported file in your laser software before production. Compare it with the PNG preview so text direction, border lines and center icons match.

Before downloading the final file, preview the stamp at a smaller size. This helps you catch spacing problems that are not obvious when the design is zoomed in. If the stamp still reads well when it is small, it will usually work better for upload forms, customer approval and production.

• Use short, readable text instead of crowding the stamp with too many words.
• Keep the main frame centered and leave enough space between the border and text.
• Choose simple SVG icons or logos with clear shapes and limited tiny details.
• Download the required format first, then open it once before sending or uploading it.
