General Questions
What is Stampmaker.online?
Stampmaker.online is an online stamp design tool. It lets you create custom stamp layouts directly in your browser, add text, choose shapes, use SVG icons, save templates, and download finished files in professional formats.
It is designed for personal stamps, business stamps, office stamps, company seals, laser engraving, and stamp production workflows.
Do I need to install software to use it?
No. The stamp editor works in your browser. You do not need to install design software just to create and prepare a stamp.
If you want to use the exported files for laser production, you may still need compatible software such as LightBurn or other tools depending on your workflow.
Can I use Stampmaker.online on mobile?
Yes. The editor is designed to work on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. On mobile, the layout is optimized so you can see the preview and edit selected elements more easily.
For precise production work, a desktop or tablet may still be more comfortable because it gives you more screen space.
Can I create stamps for free?
Yes. You can design and edit your stamp for free. Credits are only used when you download a finished file.
This means you can test layouts, change text, adjust sizes, and preview your design before spending credits.
Credits and Payments
How do credits work?
Credits are used to download finished stamp files. You buy a credit package, the credits are added to your account, and then you use them whenever you download a file.
Each export format has a clear credit price, so you know the cost before confirming the download.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Stampmaker.online does not require a monthly subscription for downloads. You buy credits and use them when you need them.
This is useful if you only need a few stamps, but it also works well if you create stamps regularly.
When are credits deducted?
Credits are deducted when you confirm and download a file. Editing, previewing, and adjusting your design does not use credits.
Before downloading, make sure the stamp preview looks correct and that you selected the right format.
What happens if I do not have enough credits?
If you do not have enough credits, the website will ask you to buy credits before downloading. After the payment is completed, the credits are added to your account and you can continue.
Are credits added automatically after payment?
Yes. After a successful payment, credits are added to your account automatically.
If the payment remains pending or processing, credits may appear after the payment is confirmed.
Can I get free credits or coupon codes?
From time to time, Stampmaker.online may offer coupons, bonus credits, or free download codes. If you have a code, you can redeem it in your account or in the credit area where available.
Download Formats
What file formats can I download?
You can download your stamp in several formats, depending on your needs:
- LBRN2 for LightBurn projects
- G-code for supported laser workflows
- SVG for editable vector files
- PNG with transparent background
- JPG for quick previews and sharing
Which format should I choose?
Choose the format based on your workflow:
- Use LBRN2 if you work with LightBurn and want a laser-ready project file.
- Use SVG if you need a scalable vector file for editing or other design software.
- Use PNG if you need a transparent-background image.
- Use JPG if you need a simple preview image.
- Use G-code only if your workflow supports it.
What is an LBRN2 file?
LBRN2 is a LightBurn project file format. It is useful for laser engraving or cutting workflows where the design needs to be opened directly in LightBurn.
Stampmaker.online prepares LBRN2 exports with separate layers where possible, so production settings can be managed more easily in LightBurn.
Can I download a package with multiple formats?
Yes, if download packages are available. A package can include multiple formats, such as PNG + JPG + SVG, in one ZIP file.
The available packages and their credit prices are shown in the download popup.
Why should I check the preview before downloading?
The preview shows how your stamp is expected to look. Before spending credits, check the text, spelling, size, placement, icons, and selected format.
This helps avoid downloading a file with a mistake in the design.
Templates and Projects
Can I save my stamp as a template?
Yes. Registered users can save their own stamp templates and edit them later.
This is useful if you need to create variations of the same design or return to a project later.
Can I use base templates?
Yes. Base templates are available to users as starting points. You can choose a template, edit it, and then save your own version.
Will editing a template overwrite the original?
If you open a template and save it with a new name, your own copy can be saved while the original remains available.
This makes it easier to create multiple versions without losing the starting design.
Does the editor autosave drafts?
Yes. The editor can autosave drafts while you work. Drafts help prevent losing work if you accidentally leave the page or need to continue later.
Autosaved drafts are separate from normal saved templates.
How many categories can I create?
User category limits may apply. This keeps the template system organized and prevents spam or misuse.
Design and Editing
Can I add text around a circle?
Yes. You can create circular text and adjust its radius, start point, direction, rotation, spacing, and placement.
You can also move selected text interactively in the preview using the available handles.
Can I edit text directly in the preview?
Yes, text can be edited from the controls, and where supported, by interacting directly with the preview. This makes quick corrections easier.
Can I upload images or SVG files?
Yes. You can use uploaded or library SVG images in your stamp design. SVG icons are especially useful because they can be handled as vector elements.
Uploaded images and SVGs should be used only if you have the right to use them.
Can I lock or hide elements?
Yes. Elements can be locked to prevent accidental movement. Elements can also be dimmed or hidden depending on the editor settings.
Can I use undo and redo?
Yes. Undo and redo are available in the editor, so you can safely test changes and go back if needed.
Accounts and Login
Do I need an account?
You can browse and test parts of the website without an account, but an account is needed for saving personal templates, buying credits, keeping a credit balance, and downloading paid files.
Why do I need to log in before downloading?
Downloads use credits, and credits are connected to your user account. Logging in makes sure your balance, download history, invoices, and templates are saved correctly.
Can I see my credit history?
Yes. Your account area can show your credit balance and download activity, depending on the available account settings.
Can I delete my account?
You can request account deletion by contacting support. Some accounting, order, invoice, and legal records may need to be kept where required by law.
Invoices, VAT, and Business Use
Will I receive an invoice?
If invoices are enabled, invoice details can be generated for credit purchases and may be sent by email or attached to the order.
Can I enter a VAT number?
Yes, if the checkout includes a VAT number or Tax ID field. VAT details may be used to determine tax treatment and invoice information.
What happens for customers outside the EU?
For customers outside the EU, Romanian/EU VAT may not be charged. However, your country may still charge local VAT, sales tax, customs fees, or other import/payment charges.
Tax rules can depend on country, customer type, and local law. If needed, ask an accountant for your specific case.
Can companies use Stampmaker.online?
Yes. The platform is suitable for companies, offices, stamp makers, legal offices, translators, production teams, and laser engraving workflows.
Technical and Production Questions
Does the preview always match the downloaded file?
The goal is for the preview and exported files to match as closely as possible. Different software may render fonts, vectors, or paths slightly differently, especially if the target software has different font or SVG support.
For production work, always open and verify the downloaded file in your final software before cutting or engraving.
Why does LightBurn matter?
LightBurn is commonly used for laser engraving and cutting. Stampmaker.online includes LBRN2 export so stamp designs can be prepared for LightBurn workflows.
Can I change the stamp size?
Yes. You can choose or adjust the plate size depending on the stamp shape. Circle, rectangle, and triangle stamps can use different default sizes and custom dimensions.
Can I use my own SVG icons?
Yes, where upload is enabled. You can also choose SVG icons from the built-in library.
For best results, use clean, simple SVG files designed for vector cutting or engraving.
Troubleshooting
My download did not start. What should I do?
First, check whether your browser blocked the download or asked where to save the file. If the issue continues, refresh the page, check your credit balance, and try again.
If credits were deducted but the file did not download, contact support with your account email, stamp name, format, and approximate download time.
My credits are not showing after payment.
Credits are normally added automatically after successful payment. If the order is still pending or processing, credits may appear once payment is completed.
If the payment is completed and credits still do not appear, contact support with your order number.
The exported file looks different in another program.
Some programs handle fonts, SVG paths, strokes, and curves differently. If possible, use the export format best suited for your workflow and verify the file before production.
For LightBurn workflows, LBRN2 is usually the recommended format.
I found a bug. How can I report it?
Contact support and include as much detail as possible:
- Your device and browser
- The stamp shape and size
- The export format
- A screenshot of the preview
- A screenshot of the downloaded file opened in your software
- Your order or download time, if relevant
